Freeze for three months.

  • Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • 450 g lean ground beef
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 green pepper, chopped
    • 1 red onion, chopped
    • 3 cups mushrooms, chopped
    • 1 large can (796 ml) diced tomatoes
    • 1 cup basmati rice
    • 1 cup of water
    • 3 bay leaves
    • Salt and pepper
  • Preparation

    1. In a frying pan, heat the olive oil and brown the meat for 2 minutes.
    2. Add remaining ingredients and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked.
