    • Ingredients

      • 3/4 cup of 15% cream
      • 3/4 cup milk
      • 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese (or other cheese of your choice)
      • 4 beaten eggs
      • 2 tbsp chopped fresh chives
      • 6 cups of bread loaves (500g) cut into cubes
      • Butter for greasing a mold
      • Flour for flouring a mold
      • 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
      • 2 green onions, chopped
      • 2 diced Italian tomatoes
      • Salt and pepper to taste
    • Preparation

      1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
      2. In a large bowl, mix together the cream, milk, cheese, eggs and chives. Season with salt and pepper. Add the bread, mixing well to coat all the bread cubes. Let stand for 10 minutes.
      3. Meanwhile, butter and flour a large springform pan (about 10 inches).
      4. Add the remaining ingredients to the first mixture and press into the mold. Place the mold on a baking sheet.
      5. Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown. Unmold and serve.
