Philly cheese style sloppy joe

Can't decide between a Philly cheese steak or a sloppy joe? Why not combine the two? This delicious blend of fondue beef, mushrooms and cream cheese in a hamburger bun is sure to satisfy your cravings!

  • Ingredients

    • 2 tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
    • ½ yellow onion, chopped
    • ½ cup (125 ml) chopped button mushrooms
    • 450 g (1 lb) fondue beef
    • 1 tsp (5 ml) steak spice
    • ¼ cup (60 ml) cream cheese
    • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Worcestershire sauce
    • Salt and pepper from the mill
    • 4 burger buns
  • Preparation

    1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook onion, mushrooms and beef for 5 minutes or until beef is cooked through.
    2. Add Worcestershire sauce and cream cheese. Cook for another minute.
    3. Fill burger buns with this mixture. Serve hot or cold.
