  • ½ tsp. tablespoons crushed peppers (adventurer version of meat macaroni)
  • 2 cups (1 can of 540 ml) black beans (replace 1 cup of beans with 1 cup of leftover cooked meat for the adventurer version of the small naan pizzas)
  • 1 large bag of corn chips (about 10 chips per person)
  • A few pickled hot peppers (adventurer version of the cream cheese board)
  • 1 cup chickpeas or white beans
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 C. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg (adventurers version of the giant cookie)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1½ cups crunchy peanut butter (or almond butter for the adventurer version of the energy balls)
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds

    Section ½ cup feta cheese (adventurer version of mini meatloaves)

  • 1 cup grated Tex-Mex style cheese

    1. Preheat the oven to 375F.
    2. Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic, 2 yellow onions and 3 stalks of celery. To book.
    3. Grate 1½ cups of carrots. To book.
    4. In a large bowl, combine 450g of ground beef, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 chopped yellow onion, 1 stalk of chopped celery, ½ cup of grated carrots, 2 eggs and 1 cup of rolled oats. Add salt and pepper to taste. It is at this stage that adventurers can add ½ cup of crumbled feta cheese.
    5. Spoon meat mixture into 12 nonstick muffin cups and top each mini meatloaf with 1-2 Tbsp. tomato sauce. Bake for 20 minutes or until the center of each mini bun is cooked through.
    6. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook 450g of macaroni according to the manufacturer's instructions. Drain and reserve.
    7. In a skillet over medium heat, heat 2 Tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil and cook 450g of ground beef and 1 chopped onion for 3 minutes, taking care to crumble the beef. Add 1 cup grated carrots, 2 chopped celery stalks, 1 tbsp. tablespoons dried basil and cook for another 5 minutes. It is at this stage that adventurers can add ½ tsp. tablespoons crushed peppers.
    8. Add meat mixture and 1 cup tomato sauce to cooked macaroni and mix well.
    9. Preheat the oven to 400F.
    10. Rinse and drain 1 can (2 cups) black beans and 1 cup chickpeas or white beans. To book.
    11. Chop 2 red peppers and 5 green onions. To book.
    12. Place 8 mini naan breads on a non-stick or parchment-lined baking sheet.
    13. Spread 1 to 2 tbsp. tomato sauce on each bun.
    14. Place 1 cup black beans on a plate and coarsely mash them with a fork. Spread over pizzas. It is at this stage that adventurers can replace the black beans with leftover cooked meat.
    15. Spread 1 chopped red pepper and 2 cups of grated cheese.
    16. Top with 2 chopped green onions and bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
    17. Spread 340g of cream cheese on a serving board, about 2cm thick.
    18. Add 1 cup salsa, 1 cup black beans, 1 chopped red pepper and 1 cup grated Tex-Mex cheese. Garnish with 3 chopped green onions. It is at this stage that adventurers can add some pickled hot peppers.
    19. Each guest helps himself to the cream cheese board with corn chips.
    20. Preheat the oven to 350F.
    21. Place in a food processor 1 cup of rinsed and drained chickpeas, 2 eggs and ½ cup of maple syrup; mix until a homogeneous texture is obtained.
    22. Place in a large bowl and add 2 cups rolled oats, ½ cup flour, 1 tbsp. baking powder, ½ tsp. baking soda and ½ cup chocolate chips. It is at this stage that adventurers can add ½ tsp. nutmeg to the preparation.
    23. Place the mixture on a non-stick cookie sheet and roll out to form a giant cookie about 1cm thick.
    24. Bake for 20 minutes or until center of cookie is cooked through.
    25. In a food processor, grind 1½ cups rolled oats to a powder.
    26. Add 1½ cups crunchy peanut butter, ¼ cup hemp seeds and 1 cup pitted dates. It is at this stage that adventurers can replace peanut butter with almond butter.
    27. Mix until the dough forms a ball with the texture of cookie dough. Adjust the texture with water if it's too dry or with oatmeal if the mixture is too wet.
    28. Place in a bowl and stir in ½ cup chocolate chips.
    29. Shape into small balls about the size of a tablespoon.
