- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Dijon mustard
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) mayonnaise
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) dried chives
- 250 ml (1 cup) crumbled cooked bacon
- 500 ml (2 cups) grated Swiss cheese
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400F.
- In a bowl, combine the mustard, mayonnaise and dried chives. Brush the 2 doughs with this mixture. Top with bacon and cheese.
- Roll the pasta on themselves, making sure to form tight cylinders. Cut into slices about 1 cm thick.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until the pinwheels are golden brown.
For adventurers
Replace the bacon with about ½ lb (200g) of finely chopped smoked meat.
Tip “ready to receive”
This recipe can go straight from the freezer to the oven. Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet and warm in the oven at 350F for 20 minutes or until the pinwheels are hot and crispy.
