Cabbage bowls
Ingredients
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) olive oil
- 1 lb (450g) ground pork
- 1 punnet of coffee mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 500 ml (2 cups) green cabbage, grated
- 1 medium carrot (about 1 cup), grated
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) soy sauce
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) brown sugar
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) rice vinegar
- Salt and pepper from the mill
Path to follow
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and cook the pork for 5 minutes, taking care to crumble the meat well. To book.
- In the same skillet, retaining the pork cooking juices, cook the mushrooms, green onions and garlic for 3 minutes.
- Add pork, cabbage, carrot, soy sauce, brown sugar and vinegar.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until the cabbage and carrot are tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Spoon into bowls and serve.
For adventurers
Add 30 ml (2 tablespoons of oil) of toasted sesame when serving.
