Touski rolls

This easy, no-cook, all-purpose recipe will allow you to empty your fridge without compromising on taste: mix leftover meat or cold cuts, celery, sweet pickles, green onions, mayonnaise and a touch of mustard, add this mixture to hot dog buns and you're done for a dinner or supper prepared in just a few minutes!

  • Ingredients

    • 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
    • 500 ml (2 cups) leftover cooked meat or deli meats, coarsely chopped
    • 1 stick of celery, chopped
    • 6 small sweet pickles, chopped
    • 1 red pepper, chopped
    • 3 green onions, chopped
    • 60 ml (¼ cup mayonnaise)
    • 15 ml (1 tbsp) Dijon mustard
    • Salt and pepper from the mill
    • 8 hot dog buns
  • Preparation

    1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients except breads.
    2. Fill the buns with this mixture.
