Freeze for three months.

  • Ingredients

    • 5 slices of bread cut into 1 cm x 1 cm cubes
    • ½ tsp (3 ml) cinnamon
    • ¼ cup (60 ml) sugar
    • 2 cups (500 ml) fresh or frozen berries
    • ¼ cup (60 ml) brown sugar
    • ½ cup (125 ml) milk
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • Preparation

    1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine bread, cinnamon and sugar; set aside.
    2. In another bowl, mix the berries and brown sugar, set aside. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg and vanilla. Gently mix the 3 preparations. Place in a rectangular non-stick baking pan. Bake for about 30 minutes.
