Peach Swirls
Ingredients
- 450g pie dough
- 1 cup canned peaches, drained and finely diced
- 3 tbsp. brown sugar
- A pinch of nutmeg
- ¼ cup melted butter
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- Roll out the dough to form a rectangle of about 20cm x 30cm.
- Garnish the dough with brown sugar and spread the peaches.
- Roll the filled dough on itself, lengthwise.
- Cut into 10 to 12 slices. Place the slices in a rectangular baking pan.
- Sprinkle with nutmeg and drizzle with butter.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the swirls are lightly browned. Serve hot with ice cream.
For adventurers:
Sprinkle with ½ cup slivered almonds before placing in the oven.
