Peach Swirls

Discover a new way to use your canned peaches with this recipe that uses them with a touch of brown sugar and nutmeg in a delicious pie crust topped with melted butter.

  • Ingredients

    • 450g of pie dough
    • 1 cup canned peaches, drained and diced
    • 3 tbsp brown sugar
    • A pinch of nutmeg
    • ¼ cup melted butter
  • Preparation

    1. Preheat oven to 375F.
    2. Roll out the dough to form a rectangle of approximately 20 cm x 30 cm.
    3. Spread the dough with brown sugar and spread the peaches.
    4. Roll the filled dough onto itself, lengthwise.
    5. Cut into 10 to 12 slices. Place the slices in a rectangular baking pan.
    6. Sprinkle with nutmeg and drizzle with butter.
    7. Bake for 20 minutes or until swirls are lightly browned. Serve warm with ice cream.

Notes and tips

Sprinkle with ½ cup slivered almonds before placing in the oven.
